Services at The Servants Quarters

The Servants Quarters, located at 409 Commerce St. in Jourdanton, will welcome ministers Garland and Linda Knoch on June 29- July 1. Join them as they minister in word and music. Services are set for June 29 at 7 p.m., June 30 at 7 p.m. and July 1 at 10 a.m.

Poteet Grange Yard Sale

The Poteet Grange is sponsoring a Community Yard Sale on July 14, from 9 a.m. to noon. The Grange Hall is located at 511 North Sixth Street in Poteet. Anyone who wishes to set up a table to sell their items should call 210-827- 4049 or 830-570-9514. The tables are available at no charge on a first come basis.


John Shipley has been sworn in as the VFW District 20 Commander. Shipley will be over 20 VFW Posts in the San Antonio area and will report to the state VFW Commander. Shipley will still be the Commander of VFW Post 6970 in Poteet.
