Pleasanton FFA starts off great on major show season

Brock Ayala, 8 years old and 3rd grader at Jourdanton Elementary harvested his first buck on 12/29/19. It was an 8-point buck that he shot at Ayala Ranches in Cotulla. Brock is the son of Ralph and Patricia Ayala of Jourdanton. He is the grandson of Mary and Nathan Smith of Jourdanton and Elsa and Raul Ayala of Cotulla.


Ike Rodriguez harvested this 16 point white-tail in Tilden at Quintanilla Ranch. He took it with a 6.5 Creedmore and the deer scored a 170.


Jessejohn Guel harvested this white-tail in Atascosa Co., at 120 yard, with a 308 Winchester. The deer had 9 points, 15 3/4 spread and weighed in at 175 pounds.


Liz Ramon harvested this buck with a .243 savage at 120 yards out on a low fence, private ranch in Frio County in December. It was a personal best for her.


Bianca Quintanilla Rodriguez harvested this 20 point white-tail in Tilden at Quintanilla Ranch. She took it with a 7mm 08 and the deer scored a 189 5/8.


Evan McLeroy, 18, and a senior at, Stephenville High School, harvested this 12 point buck at his grandparent’s place west of Charlotte on November 16. He used a 30-06 from 125 yards.
