The Atascosa-McMullen Retired School Personnel recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships for 2021-2022. Recipients are Adriana Clark, a graduate of Pleasanton High School; Cole Andrus, a graduate of Jourdanton High School and Jessalyn Sanchez, a graduate of Charlotte High School. First responders dinner

The Pleasanton Church of Christ is hosting an appreciation dinner for Atascosa County first responders on Friday, June 18, from 5-9 p.m., at the church fellowship hall. BBQ plate fundraiser at St. Andrew June 12

On June 12, the Knights of Columbus Council 8001 will hold a barbecue plate fundraiser at Saint Andrew Catholic Church Hall in Pleasanton. Their Worthy Grand Knight Clemente Cantu has been diagnosed with cancer and has undergone 26 radiation treatments that have hopefully stopped the spread.
