County officials get nod for salary increases

Atascosa County Commissioners voted unanimously to increase salaries for elected officials in the county in a vote made during commissioners court on Monday. The base salary for county judge will increase from $70,479.53 to $80,000. Stipends include a travel allowance of $18,000, serving on the juvenile board $4,800 and county detention board $4,800.
