Though it is more than three months off, the Pleasanton Young Farmers are biting at the bit to announce their entertainment for their annual Pleasanton Young Farmers’ Cowboy of the Year Rodeo.
And rightly so. They have booked country favorite Steve Wariner for the big show on Saturday, August 17 with Bracken Hale opening. On Friday, August 16, the popular Gary P. Nunn will perform after the rodeo.
The event will also include the barbeque cook-off and washer tournament. Also the naming the Cowboy of the Year as well as the new inductee into the South Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.
They also promise a bigger rodeo as well.
