Woelfel competes at San Angelo archery contest

Brannan Michael Woelfel, a 9th grader at McMullen County ISD, competed at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Archery Contest on Wednesday, Aug. 8.

Woelfel, 14, competed in two different events: the Modified 600 and the 3D. winning the combined High Point Overall Individual Intermediate Division, Compound Aided.

He is a member of the McMullen County 4-H Club and has been competing in archery for just under one year. However, he has had a bow in his hand since he was very young. Woelfel has a love for the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and raising cattle.

Brannan is the son of Warren and Stacie Woelfel of Campbellton.
