We are proud to give our monthly awards to Stephen and Rebecca Joseph and Johnny’s and Jackie’s Classical Touch. Their beautiful flowers are giving color and enjoyment to the passersby.
The house at 1309 Main owned by the Joseph couple displays a variety of plants. They have a stone and gravel pathway winding to their front porch with the steps flanked by potted geraniums, verbena and bacopa. In their front bed, they have planted hibiscus and lilies, which are highlighted by a colorful metal rooster.
The salon business at 1401 Highway 97E has a variety of landscaping and flowering plants. Entering from the parking lot, one goes through a honeysuckle archway flanked on either side with esperanzas, rose bushes, dagger plants, lavender and wisteria. In the front many colors of lilies and daisies can be found. The front door is enhanced with ferns, hibiscus, verbena, salvia, aloe vera, rubber plants and purple fountain grass.
The Jourdanton Garden Club is so appreciative of the work done by these people. A lot of work goes into keeping one’s property looking beautiful.
