Each year we get to attend the South Texas Press Association convention. Our staff attends to learn more at the seminars, converse with our peers and hopefully win some awards for our endeavors.
Our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday so that we may attend.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Hillbilly Races and Relay For Life is this month
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 26 for two events that raise awarenes. First, CASA of South Texas (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is the agency that helps children when they are placed in foster care, will host their annual Hillbilly Races.
Second, the American Cancer Association’s Relay For Life of Atascosa, the annual event that brings awareness to the public honoring survivors of and people with cancer.
The CASA event will take place at the Riverpark in Pleasanton beginning at 8 a.m. for the run, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for the other events.
Relay For Life starts at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Jourdanton High School Stadium.
