Fall Back! It’s that time of year again to change our clocks back an hour. Daylight Saving Time ends this Sunday, November 4. While it may take some time to get used to it, at least we “gain” another hour of sleep!
Happy Halloween! Today is Halloween. Be careful of trick-or-treaters in your neighborhoods and around the streets. A Haunted House will be held at the Pleasanton Fire Station from 7-9 p.m.
Fall Festivals tonight, too Cowboy Fellowship is sponsoring an event this evening – their annual Fall Festival. This year they are partnering with the First Baptist Church in Jourdanton. The free event will be held at the Jourdanton City Park and begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. with a big fireworks display. Pleasanton churches are also joining forces and having a Fall Festival at the Atascosa River Park in Pleasanton. Games, candy, hayride, jumping castles and more. The free event begins at 5:30 p.m. First Baptist Church in Poteet is also hosting a free Fall Festival. Games, candy and prizes will be given away. It will be held from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Fundraiser for Rebekah A 5K Run/3k Walk will be held to benefit the family of Rebekah Florez this Saturday, November 3 at the Poteet Strawberry Festival grounds. Register at 8:30 a.m. for $20. The run will begin at 9 a.m.
