The Pleasanton Eagles started off sluggish, losing to the Harlandale Indians in all three sets (22-25, 20-25, 23-25).

Sadie McAda and Victoria Urbanczyk each had one kill in the first set, but the Lady Eagles fell short.

n the second set, Aliyah Martin led the team in kills with two while Madeline Keylich, Sadie McAda, and Victoria Urbanczyk had one. Unfortunately, after being neck and neck throughout the set, the Indians pulled through for the set win.


Brianna Garcia and Sadie McAda both had three kills with Madeline Keylich, Victoria Urbanczyk, and Aliyah Martin’s one. Tess Underbrink had six assists and Victoria Urbanczyk led the team with eight. Kalyssa Rios lead the team with 17 digs.


The Jourdanton Squaws fell in five sets to Hondo on Tuesday.

The set scores were 25-18, 16-25, 25-13, 21-25 and 13-15.

Jourdanton hosts Ingram Moore on Friday.


The Poteet Lady Aggies fell in straight sets to Fredericksburg on Tuesday (9-25, 19-25, 17-25)

Poteet will host no. 25 Geronimo Navarro on Friday at 6 p.m.


The McMullen County Cowgirls fell in three sets to Freer (17-25, 16-25, 10-25) to open District 31-2A.

Madison Sherrer and Caroline McClaugherty each had four kills each.

McClaugherty also tallied 11 assists.

McMullen (11-13, 0-1) will next host Charlotte on Sept. 17.

Charlotte was idle. They travel to Ben Bolt on Saturday, Sept. 14, to open play in 31-2A.
