Well, Kathryn Jasik, aka Kate, has started the vendor intros for the upcoming Greatest Show in South Texas known as Vintage in Verdi. This will be their ninth year. The dates are Friday and Saturday, Dec. 3 and 4. For those on social media she has posted pictures on the Vintage in Verdi page. For those who don’t have social media I will be sharing this year’s vendors with you each week leading up to the show.
This week’s introduction is Mike’s Woodcraft Designs. He has been a customer favorite and a VNV favorite for years now. Mike does beautiful work. He makes yard art nativity scenes, doll furniture, crosses, children’s table and chair sets, art easels and more. Of course, each piece is handcrafted by Mike.
For those of you who are not familiar with this show, there will be food, coffee, antiques, homemade items, handmade items, vintage, clothing, shoes, hats, children’s booths, plants, pottery, metal yard art, music, etc., etc., etc. Fun for the whole family.
Word of the week: “The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity. – Ulysses S. Grant
