VICKS ARE READY FOR SHOW



Mason Vick and his Simbrah steer “Oreo” and Madilyn Vick with her Chia steer “Midnight Star” get help from their little brother and barn assistant MaCade Vick for the 61st Atascosa County Livestock Show. They are officers of the Leming-Verdi 4-H club. Area youth will be competing with their livestock, records and mechanics projects beginning on Tuesday, January 13. The show runs through Friday with the big auction sale on Saturday, January 17 at 1 p.m. Registration for buyers begins at 9 a.m. with Parade of Champions at 11 a.m. A complete schedule may be found on the special advertisement on pages 8A and 9A. A special section will be included in next week’s issue.
