Seems Atascosa County is overpopulated with allergy sufferers. I never do things half way. So, again I’ve gone all the way to pneumonia! Those of us who were in the very first “Relay for Life” certainly find it hard to believe that it began 10 years ago. Our team leader was Kelly Adams. Surely do miss that Sweetheart! She was never too busy to help in participating in community affairs.
I hope all of you who have the opportunity, will take advantage of the Home Health program made available here. We all know how to keep our bodies in shape, but most of us are just too lazy to do it. You can only ignore your responsibility so long, and problems start getting out of control.
Next week, we’ll begin a better plan, O.K.?
The Verdi Community is getting a new church. This next weekend on May 4, a new Christian congregation is welcoming any and all to its first service, with a celebration lunch afterwards. “Harvest Country Church” will open its doors of welcome at 3910 FM-1784. Our fellowship begins at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Scott Robertson will officiate.
This location is about 4 miles North from the turnoff of Hwy 97E between Pleasanton and Floresville. Come by and look them over. Let us hear your news.
