VERDILIZER

Thanking God for the much needed rain! Also, thanking Him for the great governors and mayors across this nation who are taking great care of the American people and opening up the economy. We’ve never shut down the economy over any other type of illness and we shouldn’t do it again. No, this doesn’t mean that I don’t care about the deaths, all deaths are sad, but they are also inevitable. We should take the best of care for our own. If you know your health is compromised and/or you have older loved ones that you would prefer they stay home, then that should be your personal decision to do so. If we don’t stand for something we will fall for anything.

REMINDER: The Primary Election Runoff date is July 14. Early voting is July 6-10 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Extended hours on July 9 are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. You can vote at the Annex II Bldg. in Jourdanton, Poteet EMS Bldg., Justice of the Peace #2 Bldg. in Lytle and the Justice of the Peace #4 Bldg. in Pleasanton. There are two Verdi residents on the runoff ballot for County Constable Precinct 1, Miguel “Mike” Mares, Jr. and John Rothenbach.

Please get out and vote. These people work hard to keep our county safe. Let’s work together to #MAGA, Make Atascosa Great Again.

We will be having Bible study on Tuesdays at the Verdi Community Center from 7-8 p.m.
