I mentioned last week that Russell Caraway had gone to San Angelo with his red sandblaster for the FFA Ag Mechanics project. He came back with a blue ribbon. Congratulations, Russell. Also, Barin Jasik was headed to Fort Worth to show his steer, Fur Ball. Barin didn’t place, however, he came home a happy young man because he got to bring his steer home. To Barin, he was the winner!

I’d like to encourage everyone to please make time to get out and vote. We all know this is a very important year across our nation. But, for now I’ll focus on our local elections.
