I hope everyone is having a blessed holiday season. I should say, ‘I hope we all realize that we are having a blessed holiday because we are all blessed’. Blessed because we all have a loving Father who is with us, always, in every situation. We don’t define blessed by what material things we have or by what people around us tell us it is. We define blessed by knowing that we can call upon a God who never sleeps. We can call on Him day and night and He hears us. So let me rephrase my first sentence. I know that everyone is having a blessed holiday season. The greatest gift any of us could ever need has already been given. God the Spirit came to earth as God in flesh to die for our sins so that we can have everything we need through Him and in Him. He is the reason for all seasons. He says in the book of Jeremiah, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
