Fall Festival at Cowboy Fellowship
Hadley Pawelek, daughter of Abby and Pastor Pete Pawelek, and Hayes Pawelek, son of Amanda and Zack Pawelek, have attended Fall Festivals since they were born. They will be ready for a great time at this year’s celebration of the fall season.
The Fall Festival will be the final October event on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Cowboy Fellowship on FM 3350. Local clubs and civic organizations are partnering with Cowboy Fellowship of Atascosa County for this year’s event activities. Game booths will open at 6 p.m.
There will be a mechanical bull, climbing wall, fishing booths, trash toss, face painting, tattoos, ring toss, photo area, Plinko and the dunking booth plus many more. The special area for toddlers and small children will be expanded this year. Food trucks will be available to purchase supper or a quick snack.
Professional fireworks will begin at 8 p.m. There will be tons and tons of candy given away all night long. Wear a costume or come as you are for a fun and safe place to celebrate Fall. Don’t wait until the end of the month to visit Cowboy Fellowship.
Start this week with a Bible study, youth activity or church service and plan to be part of the fun and entertainment at the Fall Festival. For more information, contact www.cowboyfellowship.org and watch for the ad later this month in the Pleasanton Express.
Fall Fest in Poteet
Everyone is welcome to the Fall Festival at the Poteet Canyon Park on Oct. 21. The event begins at 5 p.m. and is being sponsored by First Baptist Church of Poteet, Hosanna Baptist Church of Poteet and First United Methodist Church. Everything is free. Join them for games, food, face painting, hay rides and music featuring the band Vertical Praise.
Trunk or Treat
Trunk or Treat will be held on Oct. 31 at Trinity Baptist Church, at 1219 N. Bryant in Pleasanton (across from Sherry’s Convenience Store).
