Unanimous decision to proceed with Option 2





The Pleasanton City Council received a round of applause, following its unanimous decision to proceed with Option 2 as the best one for the rehabilitation of the buildings for the Community Center and Library project. The decision was part of the July 5 meeting. Also included in the motion was to proceed with the plans as soon as possible. Option 2 includes the partial removal of the building and renovation. The vote followed a 55-minute closed session to consult with City Attorney Bobby Maldonado on his opinion for the options for the project.
