Two Pleasanton ISD campuses burglarized





A burglary was committed at the Pleasanton High School building, Friday March 1, 2013. Numerous laptops, Ipads, a MAC computer, cell phones and currency were taken. The perpetrators made their way throughout the building and removed the property from both classrooms and the administrative offices. The total value of stolen items was estimated at or about $7,500.00. Through extensive and detailed investigation, the Pleasanton Independent School District Police Department was able to apprehend and arrest two juveniles.

All items taken in the burglary were recovered in a cemetery and in a residence south of Pleasanton. The Pleasanton ISD Police Department has since issued a felony warrant of arrest on the third suspect who has been identified as Jose Campos III (18) from Pleasanton. The PISD Police is asking for anyone with information of Campos’ whereabouts to contact Chief of Police Charles Salsedo or Officer Willie Galloway at (830) 569-1267.

Chief Salsedo said about the quick apprehension of suspects,

“I think it sends a clear message that these activities will be addressed aggressively and with consequence.” Another burglary was committed at the Pleasanton Elementary Campus over Spring Break. Salsedo said that they are actively investigating this incident as well and if anyone had information to please contact him at the above number.
