The Charlotte Trojanettes moved to 6-0 in district 28-2A with wins over Great Hearts Academy and San Antonio Stacey last week.

Sanchez was fouled with three seconds left in the game and the Trojanettes were trailing 39-38 at that point.

The junior was 8-of-10 from the free throw line and scored 10 points to help the Trojanettes. Mia Campos led the way for Charlotte with 15 points Julissa Cantu had 13 points thanks to three three-pointers, two of which came in the second half.

The Trojanettes led 15-9 after the first quarter before having their lead cut in half at 22-19 entering halftime.

Stacey managed to outscore the Trojanettes 20-18 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as the Trojanettes kept their spot atop the 28-2A standings.
