Tilden FFA members earn Ford Truck Scholarships

Reagan Moon and Cotton Harris of the Tilden FFA Chapter were each recently awarded $1,000 scholarships by Kinsel Ford Three Rivers through the National FFA Organization Built Ford Tough Ford Truck Scholarship Program. Ford Motor Company, a sponsor of the FFA organization since 1948, is recognized for its long-term commitment with Built Ford Tough scholarships for tomorrow’s farmers and community leaders. Since 1997, Ford has committed over $10 million to deserving high school graduates. Brady Kinsel, General Manager of the dealership says, “We are very proud to participate in the program. To be able to recognize these kids for their accomplishments in FFA is very rewardig.” Moon will be attending Texas A&M University through the Blinn Team and will major in Agricultural Communications. Harris will be attending Blinn College in Brenham and will major in Sports Management.
