Atascosa County Judge present during the reading. Commissioners’ Courtap•proved the Resolution.

Judge Hurley recognized J. F. Ramos from AACOG concerning the following Interlocal agreements between AACOG and Atascosa County.

Interlocal agreement for 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Services with AACOG, for 2016-2017, Jymie Perna, Dispatch.

Then Interlocal agreement for E9i-1- 1 Automatic Location Information Maintenance Services for 2016- 2017, Linda Foster, 911 Addressing.

Commissioners’ Courtap•proved the agreements.

Judge Hurley then introduced Lindsay Thorn of THORNGRAVES Architects who discussed plans for the new Atascosa County Courthouse Justice Center. Thorn described in detail, using Power Point illustrations in giving a complete review of all the construction plans

Judge Hurley then introduced Lindsay Thorn of THORNGRAVES Architects who discussed plans for the new Atascosa County Courthouse Justice Center. Thorn described in detail, using Power Point illustrations in giving a complete review of all the construction plans for the new Justice Center.

Thorn requested appropriate action concerning a proposal for Geo-Tech Study by Raba Kistner in the amount of $9,790.00. Request was approved.

Thorn requested appropriate action concerning the following (TWO) proposals for services. (1) Structural Engineering Services proposal by ALPHA Consulting Engineers. Lump Sum: $62,000.00 for services provided in the text of the proposal. Additional services not mentioned or included in the text are provided at the hourly rate listed and will be charged for the following: Change of Scope and Additional Site Visits.

(2) MEP Engineering proposal by RGM Engineering Services totaling $51,900.00, plus $400.00 per site visit. Both proposals• were approved.

Laura Pawelek, Atascosa County Treasurer, requested appropriate action concerning Treasurer’s Report for March, 2016 and Order for Publication in the newspape• r. Request was granted.

Constable Edward Richter, Pct. 2, requested appropriate action concerning acceptance of Albert Treviño as a Non-Paid Reserve Deputy for Atascosa County Constable, Pct. 2. Requestwa•s approved.

Todd Perna, Atascosa County Fire Marshal, requested appropriate action concerning approval of New Fire Department Contracts with Poteet VFD and Rossville VFD to cover the additional area that was formerly the Primrose VFD coverage area. A map had been drawn up by Perna and the Poteet and Rossville VFDs and submitted to Commissioners’ Court.Co•ntracts were approved.

Ray Samson, Atascosa County Auditor, requested appropriate action concerning approval of the following budget amendments for 2015. (1) Emergency Budget Amendments, 2015. (2) Line Item Budget Amendments, 2015. Budget amendments were approved.

Auditor Samson then requested appropriate action concerning request to approve advertising for Copy Machine Paper Bids.Re•quest was granted.

David Soward, Atascosa County Sheriff, requested appropriate action concerning personnel. He requested the promotion of existing employee, Christopher Gomez, to Depuy Sheriff, with the pay rate of $3,792.60/monthly, $120.00/monthly uniform allowance, 171 hours fluctuating, $175.00/month Holiday Pay, beginning April 11, 2016. Requestwa•s approved.

Comm. Gillespie, Pct. 1, requested appropriate action concerning the approval of a road bore by McCoy Water Supply Corp. on Coble Road at the intersection with Rutledge and Mangum Roads in Poteet, Texas, for St. Philip Benizi Church.wa• Request s granted.

Judge Hurley, asked for appropriate action concerning Judge and Commissioners Training courses to include recording of any hours and certificates into the Commissioners’ Courtm•inutes.

Comm. Gillespie, Pct. 1, presented a Certificate for successfully completing 16 hours of Educational Training during the School for County Commissioners Courts held February 16-18, 2016, in College Station, Texas.Re•quest was approved.

Judge Hurley requested appropriate action concerning Capital OutlayEx•penditure Requests.

Bill Meadows, Constable, Pct. 4, requested appropriate action concerning replacement of non-repairable broken TASER (1) #22002 Class III, X2, black handle TASER. Total Cost w/shipping and handling – $1,080.92 with one (1) year warranty.Re•quest was granted.

Rick Luna, Constabable, Pct. 3, requested appropriate action concerning purchase of (1) Motorola APX6500 VHF Portable Radio – Total: $5,822.90. (2) Industrial Communications, Graphics for Tahoe – Total: $350.00. (3) Wayne Horn, quote to install equipment in Tahoe – Total: $1,587.28.re• All 3 quests were approved.

Judge Hurley requested approval of reports and ordered bills to be paid.

Honorable Atascosa County Judge Bob Hurley mentioned to those in attendance that the Second Regular Meeting of the Commissioners’ Court would be on Monday, April 25, 2016, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Meeting was then adjourned.

Commissioners Court then held a SPECIAL CALLED MEETING.

Commissioners’ Court went into EXECUTIVE SESSION to consider Personnel Matters.

Commissioners’ Court then returned to Open Session.

Commissioners’ Court had interviewed candidates applying for the ACVSO (Atascosa County Veterans Service Officer) position during the Executive Session.
