I ran across this quote while stalking, um, I mean reading my friends on Facebook updates. The author is unknown, but whoever said/wrote this is pretty darn spot on.
“An arrow can be shot only by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus and keep aiming.”
While my life is not so difficult at the present, in fact it is great, there were times that I felt I was under so much stress. In fact, the tightness one would feel with a bow drawn would pretty much describe the tightness I felt in my heart, neck and shoulders.
My mother’s death eight years ago, kids busy in school and a marriage on the rocks soon after had my string pulled pretty tight.
To think how far I have come just in the past few years has truly been a launch into greatness. My children are both educated, on their own and in relationships with awesome people. We are healthy, happy and grateful for it all.
Personally, I finally know who I am. And I actually like this person.
Professionally, I am still excited about this industry and how it is evolving. So much has happened over the past few years and to see what is coming next will be interesting to say the least.
As a citizen of a great community,
I know there are some drawbacks with rapid growth, but I feel that in time, it will even out and our area is due for positive growth.
The way I see it, keep the focus, aim accordingly and prepare for launch!
