Community Thanksgiving Service

The Atascosa County Ministerial Alliance announces its 18th annual Community Thanksgiving Service hosted by the people of Trinity Baptist Church, 1219 North Bryant, in Pleasanton. The service will begin at 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, and will be followed by a snack fellowship in the Church Fellowship Hall. Pastor Rob Jeffrey of Atascosa Christian Fellowship of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Pleasanton will bring the Thanksgiving message plus other local pastors will participate in the service.

Churches represented at the service are asked to bring their Advent wreaths for the annual wreath exchange. A love offering will be received for the Atascosa Christian Assistance Ministry in Poteet. Last year the offering went to the Atascosa Pregnancy Care Center, which has now relocated permanently in Pleasanton on West Adams Street below the high school.

All who attend are encouraged to bring sandwiches, chips, dips, etc. for the fellowship after the service. Come and join us to give thanks to God together in worship, prayer and The Word!
