After a rain the night before, the weather came together for a great day of golfing to support scholarships for members of Pleasanton ISD Golf Teams on May 11.

A total of 76 golfers turned out to test their skills while vying for the cash prizes.

After the last putt sank, three teams had risen to the top of the field and were declared winners. Members of the high school golf team came out in force to help setup and cheer on the players. Each year, the Tee It Up Booster Club hosts this tournament as their sole fundraiser in order to offer scholarships to graduating seniors that were members of the PISD Golf Team.

A special thank you to Mike Yanity and the staff at Pleasanton Country Club for their help in this annual event and to all the sponsors who made this possible with their generous donations.

Sponsors included: Poteet VFW Post 6970, Vulcan Materials, Southern Signs, Swans Auto Plex, Dairy Queen, Poth Plumbing, Lance Bryan Memorial, El Castillo, Wells Construction, Kinsel Ford, Sherry’s, The Office Bar & Grill, The Arnold Family, The Shot Glass, Martin Abstract, Atascosa Gardens, Tuttle Motor Co., Cafe Chris, Jagged Edge, Pleasanton Country Club and Chilis.
