Suspected bank robber found dead in Pleasanton

On June 26, 2018 at 7:25 am Officers of the Pleasanton Police Department were dispatched to Relax Inn located at 2107 Second St for a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, Officers located 62 year old Marcus Allen Brown out of Corpus Christi unresponsive and not breathing. Officers requested EMS who later determined the male was deceased. Justice of the Peace Pascarella was called to the scene and later pronounced Brown deceased. Upon further investigation it is believed Brown died of an apparent overdose, and no foul play is suspected. Detectives were later notified by Corpus Christi Police Department that Brown was suspected in a robbery at the Gulf Coast Federal Credit Union that occurred in Corpus Christi on June 22, 2018. The Robbery investigation is still currently under investigation by the Corpus Christi Police Department.
