A Pleasanton used car business was burglarized on April 14. The property was ransacked and damaged with several items allegedly taken by Carlos Manuel Cabrito, 38, of Pleasanton. Missing was a 2001 Dodge pickup, 75 car titles, 25 keys to vehicles on the lot, a computer, video camera and $500 cash.
Leads given by Atascosa County Sheriff’s office Sgt. Investigator Max Peralta, resulted in the arrest by Pleasanton Police Sgt. Investigator Johnny Gonzales. Cabrito was allegedly found in possession of the stolen items and confessed to Sgt. Gonzales about stealing the truck. He was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Burglary of a Building.
