The main purpose of yoga is to build strength, awareness and harmony between mind and body. During the class, the instructor will introduce certain techniques or positions so the participants may follow. Yoga is a calm and low-impact type of exercise. Its focus is to calm both mind and body to create a certain more stable pose.
