That could only mean one thing: Czech Day! Yes, indeed, St. Matthew Catholic Church in Jourdanton will hold its annual Czech Day Celebration on Sunday, July 15, at the church and parish hall. The celebration begins with Mass at 11 a.m. St. Matthew’s pastor, Fr. Kazimierz Oleksy, will be the celebrant for the Mass. After Mass, an authentic Czech meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $9 per plate.
