Members of St. Luke’s Catholic Church at Loire have planned their 8th Annual Fall Festival for Sunday, October 6, 2013. They ask you to please feel welcomed to join them for their Sunday morning Mass at 10:30 a.m.

They will be serving up plates of their famously tender barbecued brisket and sausage, with pinto beans, country potatoes, coleslaw with homemade dressing, dessert and iced tea, for only $7.00 per plate! Enjoy your dinner and dine in the air conditioned hall while visiting with family and friends from the community and joining the fun, or take it home from our TO GO Line.

Serving starts at 11 a.m. Sunday morning and continues through 2 p.m.

Admission to the grounds is free! It is a fun Sunday afternoon for the entire family!

New this year is the Live Auction, Horse and Pony Ride and Antique Car Show!

Inside the air conditioned hall, activities include the meal, Silent Auction with a wide variety of items, so come and take a look and start bidding to get some favorite items. The fish pond is there waiting to delight all the young children, as well as face painting. Also inside is our Homemade Bake Shoppe full of items such as: kolaches, cinnamon rolls, jams, jellies, peanut brittle & more!

Free Entertainment

FREE, yes free entertainment and dance from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. by the Incredible Music Makers from Flatonia – so come and enjoy the music!

The Super Prize Drawing has a Grand Prize of a $1,000 Visa Gift Card. The $1,000 gift card is only one of the 40 GREAT prizes totaling $7,250! Tickets are on sale now until the drawing on Sunday at 5:00pm. Your presence is not necessary to win, and the cost is only $5 each. A diamond necklace donated by Americus Diamond will be raffled off as well. There are 100 tickets to sell for $50 each.

Live Auction and Fun Stuff

Outside this year is the new live auction. There will be live animals for sale, homemade items such as quilts, metal shooting bench, homemade baked items, Custom Damascus Steele folding knife, Consuela tote, 45 Quart Yeti, Kenneth Wyatt painting, just to name a few! So start your Christmas shopping with us!

On the grounds there will be awesome Arts & Crafts vendors, Antique Car Show, Horse and Pony rides, a giant inflatable slide, ring toss, milk bottle throw, plinko, and snow cones. So come out and join in all the fun!

St. Luke’s Catholic Church – Loire is located at 3930 FM-536, right off of IH-37. Traveling north or south on IH-37, take exit 117 at FM 536 and turn east. You can see the church from the Highway.

Grounds open at 10 a.m. and all activities will be held on the church grounds and in the air conditioned hall.
