South Central Texas Independent Cattlemen’s Association awards scholarships

The scholarship committee of the South Central Texas Independent Cattlemen’s Association (SCTICA) has made the selections for 2020 scholarships. Each recipient is a 2020 graduate and will receive a $500 scholarship.

Hannah Watts, Poteet High School, is active in the FFA, 4-H, Poteet Strawberry Festival Court and Cowboy Fellowship Fall Festival. She will attend Texas A&M University majoring in Ag Communications and Journalism. Watts is the granddaughter of SCTICA Member Marilyn Watts, of Charlotte.

SCTICA annually awards scholarships to Junior SCTICA Members or children/ grandchildren of SCTICA Members.
