Second Term

First congratulations to the President of the United States on winning a second term. Truly, yours was a remarkable achievement. You ran a campaign almost entirely devoted to attack ads; personal attacks, innuendos, suggestions of felonious activities, outsourcing, class warfare, and any other means available, and all with a minimum of information about your second term. Before dealing with the second term let us look to the first term and your promises. You promised to cut the deficit in half. You took a ten trillion dollar deficit and turned it into a sixteen trillion dollar deficit. Now math is not my strong suit but I believe that half of ten is five, not sixteen. In fact, this is an increase of sixty-two percent. Where I’m from this is an increase, not a decrease. Next unemployment at the end of three years would be around five percent. Coming to the end of your term it is seven point nine and rising.

You promised a massive increase in well paying green energy jobs, how did that turn out? Billions wasted, bankruptcies filed, and millions channeled into your reelection fund. You promised the most open transparent administration ever and what happened? Claims of executive privilege, delay and obfuscation over freedom of information requests, and question after question left unanswered. Answer these questions please. How do you propose to fix the economy with a history of failure in green jobs following you? What, when, and why did things go bad in Benghazi? Oh, by the way seeing no act of terror is not the same thing as a terrorist attack. If it is then why isn’t Fort Hood a terrorist attack? Why isn’t the Colorado shooting a terroristic attack? Need I go on? Harry S. Truman said the buck stops here, not at the previous administration, especially one that had to deal with both houses of congress belonging to the other party. Oh and Fannie May and Freddie Mac, the root cause of the housing bust, a liberal idea and program. Well intentioned, but a failure, and speaking of failure wait for the full effect and bill for Obamacare. Oh, and never, ever mention the words civility, prejudice, racism, discrimination, or any other of those wonderful catch phrases you and yours toss out when speaking of or about your opponents. When you’re rival for the Whitehouse was called Mittstake Romnesia and fiscal impropriety you lose the right to speak of civility. When the Attorney General of the United States allows voter intimidation and while you incite class envy, you lose the right to claim racism, discrimination, and prejudice. So when I disagree with you, your policies, or your programs, it is over differences in philosophy, not because of the previously mentioned areas.

Wow, quite a list of problems and concerns to be dealt with, is there a solution, and if so what is it? Prove me wrong, please prove me wrong, become the president of the UNITED States. Jumpstart the economy, fix the deficit, push for a balanced budget amendment. Do not reward illegal immigrants for their actions but do provide a path to citizenship. If Taxes must rise, so be it, just cut at least five dollars spent for each dollar of tax increase. Lead this country into a new renaissance; use my ideas as a basis for your second term. Call I’ll have a beer with you and discuss the broad goals and specific details. As I said prove me wrong, Please!
