Snow time in the Brush Country!

“As the snow began to create a white fluff, I knew it was going to be something beautiful,” said Ronin Garcia. “I’ve only heard the stories of when it snowed that much in Poteet many moons ago. I hoped everyone enjoyed the sight and made many memories.” Ronin is pictured in the snow with girlfriend Stephanie Harris. RONIN GARCIA | PLEASANTON EXPRESS

The snowfall of February 2021 is one that South Texans won’t soon forget.

The snowy weather brought a beautiful landscape of white and nature covered in icicles that many have never seen before. For those old enough to remember, this week’s snow brought back memories of 1985 and created new ones.

The Pleasanton Express knows that while for some the snow was magical, it also resulted in people losing their electricity and other necessities.

The photos featured in this week’s issue highlight the lighter side of the snowy experience and were taken by both our staff and readers. Thanks to everyone for sharing your snow photos.
