Throughout August, many locals took part in the Level One Skateboard Training sessions hosted by the Pleasanton Parks and Recreation Department and The Navigators.

As the saying goes, “Practice makes perfect.”

“All you skateboarders are learning at a phenomenal rate but without practice you can lose the progress you have made,” said Bob Byrd of The Navigators.

For this reason, they have scheduled the continuation of training classes on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Pleasanton River Park Pavilion #1, from 10 a.m.- 12 noon.

“You are progressing toward Level Two Training classes at the skate park, so stay committed to a fun and confidence-building learning process,” added Byrd.

Those with questions are asked to call Bob Byrd at 210-896-5525.
