The community is invited to join Safer Path Family Violence Shelter at their 3rd Annual Shine a Light Vigil on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Atascosa County Courthouse.

The event is part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the theme, “Shine a Light,” is a reminder of how domestic violence often happens behind closed doors and isn’t discussed.

Please come out to this special candlelight tribute as we honor and support the victims of domestic violence and the local law enforcement agencies who put their lives at risk to help those in need. Safer Path representatives will also speak about the horrifying facts surrounding domestic violence and how it has directly impacted the community of Atascosa County.
