Sharon J. Scott of Poteet went to rest with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the age of 77.
Sharon was a jack of all trades through her life, being a business owner, hairdresser and truck driver; however, her true passion was her family. She had a love for her family that translated into hosting dinners, playing cards and throwing dice. Sharon later became a caregiver to many in her family during their time of need, keeping those she loved healthy and comfortable when they needed her most. Aside from a giving heart, she was also an avid gardener and bird watcher spending her days looking for hummingbirds and tending to her roses. Sharon’s fearless personality and strong faith helped her live a rewarding life with her friends, and most important– her family.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Clifford Scott and Irene Brice Scott; brothers Paul Martin Scott, James Franklin Scott and wife Janice Scott; nephew Stephen Brad Smith; Roy Kosub.
Sharon is survived by her son James Kosub and wife Dawn, grandson Matthew Kosub and wife Melinda, granddaughter Ashley Kosub; sisters Mary Mangum and husband Sidney, Sue Ann Kendrick and husband Eddie; brothers Phil Scott and wife Peanut, Sam Scott and wife Donna, numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones, and two faithful canine companions–Peanut and Bitsy.
