Hunting season is upon us and you know what that means— another chance to get “the big one” and maybe even get your picture in the newspaper.

Maybe you’ll catch a deer with an impressive spread or a fish the size of a small child. Whatever your prize, snap a photo and send it to agnews@pleasantonexpress.com.

Please include the hunter’s name, location of where the animal was taken down or reeled in and type of weapon used. If the person in the photo is a youth, you may also include age or grade and school. Photos will run as space allows.

Check out the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s website, www.tpwd.texas.gov for information on obtaining a hunting or fishing license, hunter education, hunting seasons in Atascosa County and other TPWD news and hot topics.
