Its that time again for bulky trash pick up.
Pick up for area 1 will begin on March 20 and run through March 24. Areas west of Bryant St. and north of Oaklawn St. can begin placing bulky trash on their curb side on March 6.
Area 2 pick up will begin March 27 and run through March 31. Areas sest of Hwy. 281 to Bryant St. and south of Goodwin can begin placing bulky trash on their curb side on March 13.
Area 3 pick up will begin April 3 through April 7. Areas east of Hwy. 281 and north of Industrial Park can begin placing bulky trash on their curb side on March 20.
The Community Development Services Department would like to remind everyone that trash should not be placed at your curb side more than two weeks prior to your specific scheduled date of pick up. Should you do so, you are subject to a citation.
Trash shouldnt be more than 10 cubic yards per residential unit and if so then additional charges will be applied.
Please do not place hazardous waste, dead animals, tires, oils, chemicals, special waste etc. in piles.
Remember to place your trash away from obstacles to ensure pick up, such as power lines, tree branches and vehicles.
If you wish to combine piles you need to notify Community Development Services before your scheduled pick up to prevent additional charges.
