This week is National Fire Prevention Week and we have featured the departments in a sponsorship advertisement on pages 10 and 11 C. These men and women volunteer to make sure our homes, businesses and property are hopefully saved when fires and disaster strike. They also help extract people from vehicles if needed and do this because they care.
Please let them know that they are appreciated … not only this week, but for weeks to come.
