The Lady Aggies pulled within 13-12 on a basket by Bella De La Garza in the second quarter, but the Lady Indians used three consecutive fast break layups to force a Poteet timeout midway through the period. The Lady Aggies had trouble dealing with Harlandale’s press defense, which limited Poteet to eight points in the second and third quarters combined.
By then the Lady Indians held a 37-18 lead and cruised through the final period.
Emily Zavala led the Lady Aggies with six points, and Chelsea Martinez added five. Jasmine Oliva and D’andra Calhoun each scored four points.
