ROGER REAMER


 

 

Roger Reamer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2018 at the age of 74. He was born Dec. 17, 1943 in El Paso, Texas. After he graduated from Jefferson High School in San Antonio, he enlisted in the US Coast Guard and was honored to serve his country. After his enlistment ended, he took a job at Kelly AFB, Texas where he began working as a draftsman. He worked at Kelly for 33 years until his retirement, ending his career in Mechanical -Technical Engineering. He was an avid sports fan, history buff, aviation enthusiast, and collector of ballcaps of all kinds.

He was preceded in death by his parents Owen J. and Phyllis Reamer, his brother Jerry Reamer, sister Martha Reamer Clark, and mother and father-in-law R.V. and Ellen Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Carol Johnson Reamer of Pleasanton, daughter Jennifer Reamer of San Antonio, sons Ryan and Morgan Reamer of Leander, grand-daughter Savanna Stewart of San Antonio, brother Allen Reamer and wife Sherry, sisters Rebecca Guerrero and Doris Reamer, brother and sister-in-law David & Neta Johnson, sister-inlaw Brenda Reamer and all of his much loved nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A memorial service led by Pastor John Coleman will be conducted at First Baptist Church in Pleasanton on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 am.
