Rodolfo V. Flores, 84, passed away on May 21, 2020, in Jourdanton. He was born on July 4, 1935, in Pearsall, to parents Theodore and Carlota Flores.

Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Carlota Flores; brothers, Raul V. Flores; brothers-in-law, Carlos Villarreal, Manuel Berrellez, Rodolfo Pruitt; sisters, Irma F. Villarreal, Soila F. Berrellez, Bertha F. Trujillo and Adelfa (FITA) F. Villarreal.

Rodolfo is survived by his son, David R. Flores and wife, Elizabeth Anaya Flores; grandchildren, Richard Ramon Anaya and wife, Cory, Giovanni David Flores and wife, Chelsey and Genarro Benito Flores; great-grandchildren, Nyallie Anaya, Xavier Pete Anaya and Gia Flores; brothers, Teodoro (Teddy) V. Flores, Jr. and wife, Maria Martinez Flores and Armando V. Flores and wife, Eloisa Benavidez Flores; sisters, Dolores (Nellie) F. Pruitt, Gladia F. Juarez and husband, Ruben Juarez, Maria Del Refugio (Cooky) F. Garcia and husband, Gumecindo Garcia and Rosario F. Rodriguez and husband, Carlos M. Rodriguez.

Rodolfo worked for the City of Hobbs, New Mexico for 45 years until his retirement. He enjoyed drawing and painting. He had the skill of carpentry and helped build three churches in the Hobbs area and saw to their upkeep. He had a wonderful sense of humor, wit and was a bit mischievous. He was LOVED and will be dearly missed.

Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
