The Pleasanton Young Farmers are planning for an even bigger and better event this year – lots more actvities for the two-day event! Be sure to come out and see who gets named Cowboy of the Year and the inductees into the South Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame on Friday night.

Taxfree shopping

If you haven’t finished shopping for back-toschool clothes and supplies, you can hit the stores again this weekend and save sales tax this weekened, Aug. 17, 18 and 19.

Most clothing, shoes and schools supplies are exempt from tax as well as backpacks under $100.
