City of Pleasanton employees were honored at their yearly Christmas dinner held December 16 at the Pleasanton Civic Center. City Manager Johnny Huizar complimented the council and staff in his opening remarks.
He highlighted the major water project with service extension from the Halpin Well off of FM 476 to Hwy. 97 near IH 37, citing the savings of $1.075 million by handling it in-house. Another positive accomplishment is the new bond for the city park.
Employees, council members, county officials and guests enjoyed a delicious carne guisada dinner with all the trimmings.
Huizar presented 5, 10, 15 and 25 year certificates to 12 employees.
Serving five years are
Raymundo Reyes, Walter Carrillo, Jesse Guerra, Willie Martinez, Jordan Haren, Frank Leon, Jr. and David Haley.
Doroteo Reyna, Samantha Garcia and Elsie Guerra have been with the city for 10 years.
Kristi Bandy was acknowledged for her 15 years of service.
Joe Guzman was honored for his 25 years of employment.
