SANTA COMES TO J-TOWN ON MONDAY
Santa Claus will arrive in Jourdanton on Monday, December 5. The Jourdanton Fire Department will be transporting Santa on the fire truck to the Jourdanton Community Center. He will arrive at 6:30 p.m.
This year children will be given a number as they arrive at the Community Center. They will see Santa when their number is called. This way the children and parents don’t have to stand in line. There will be activities to keep the children busy until it is their turn to see Santa.
Food and drinks will be sold in the Community Center. Hamburgers will be freshly prepared and sold outside the Community Center under the awning on Elm St. side. A bake sale will take place inside.
Santa will visit with the children in the library. When the child’s number is called he or she can go into the library. They will visit with Santa. Free pictures compliments of Walgreens will be taken. Parents will be responsible for making arrangements to pick up the photos at Walgreens. After visiting with Santa the children can return to the community center. There is no charge to visit with Santa and to have a photo taken. You may bring your own camera as well.
Come out and bring the children to see Santa Claus and enjoy an evening out in the community.
For more information on Santa’s arrival call the Jourdanton Library at 769-3087.
