While Rebecca Wilkerson, Joyce Price and their quilting friends of Quilted Hearts were stuck at home due to the coronavirus, they passed the time by quilting, day, night and every hour in between.

The members of the nonprofit organization donated quilts to the Jourdanton Police Department. On Tuesday, the police department picked up 200 quilts that they will be delivering soon to people in need (the elderly first), without power and stuck at home cold.

The public is invited to like their Facebook page and if you have any good fabric laying around to donate or if you would like to make a monetary donation, please message their page. The cost of these quilts aren’t cheap and the Quilted Hearts members buy everything themselves, not to mention the hours of work that go into each one. The quilts are truly a gift from the heart, in this time of great need.
