Putts for Paws Oct. 5Free Access

Atascosa Animal Allies, a nonprofit animal rescue based in Pleasanton, is hosting its second annual Putts for Paws golf tournament, adoption event, and auction this coming Oct. 5 at the Pleasanton Country Club.

Registration is now open for this year’s Putts for Paws tournament – a four-person handicapped scramble. The top four teams will take home one of the following prizes: first place team takes home $1,500, second takes home $1,000, 3rd takes home $800 and 4th place takes home $400.

The registration fee is $100 per person or $400 for the team. Teams wishing to register can do so on the nonprofit’s website www.atascosaanimalallies.org or they can register day of at the Pleasanton Country Club. Registration will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, and the tournament starts at noon.

Participants can also try their hand at winning the Hole-in-One prize sponsored by Tuttle Outdoor Power – a Polaris Ranger. Following the tournament golfers can enjoy a meal catered by Lew’s. The winner of the $5,000 raffle drawing will also be announced.
