Join us Saturday for the Community Prayer Walk!
This Saturday, Dec. 3 is the first Community Prayer Walk for Atascosa County. We invite all who wish to pray for our community, our schools, our military, our first responders, our government, and those who have been affected by natural disasters to come and join us at the Pleasanton River Park at 8:45 a.m. for registration and the prayer walk from 9 – 11 a.m.
Pastors Pete Pawelek, Larry Scharmann, Junior Jones, Wade Rush, Jana Simon and Scott Anderson will be delivering a message and leading us in prayer, Praise groups from Jourdanton Methodist, Crosspoint, Cowboy Fellowship, and children from First Methodist in Pleasanton along with the PHS band will lead us in hymns. Members of Pleasanton’s United Methodist Women will provide some light refreshments. We will be walking from station to station so dress comfortably. Bring a lawn chair if you wish to sit at the last station for the patriotic songs and hymns payed by the PHS band and the message from Larry Scharmann.
