The Poteet Strawberry Festival Association did it again! Records were broken in every way….strawberry auction, the food show (results in next week’s issue) and attendance. Congratulations to all on a successful event!

Our thoughts and prayers Sincere prayers and thoughts to those who have been affected by the bombings in Boston. Peace and calmness to the families who lost loved ones and healing/recovery to those who were injured.

Pleasanton ISD Bond info Pleasanton ISD will hold a community-wide bond discussion meeting on Thursday, April 18th at the High School cafeteria at 6:15 p.m. Detailed information regarding the upcoming school bond election will be shared. All community members are invited to attend.

Don’t be a distracted driver It is still National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Be aware of your surroundings and curtail using electronic devices while driving. Don’t become a statistic!
