The City of Pleasanton will hold a Part Two of its Marketing & Branding Workshop on Sept. 19, at 11:30 a.m. at the Pleasanton Civic Center. The city held Part One of this workshop late last month.
Workshop presenters include: Sarah Segura, Owner of UPS Store 4617, and Ernie Gonzalez, President & CEO for EMC Strategy Group.
The workshop will include key marketing tips to expand small business operations with various budgets. This workshop will also create awareness of the wide-range of marketing resources and strategies available for small businesses, some of which are free to the public.
“We are seeing a very positive response on the information and support that the city is offering to our local businesses,” says Pleasanton City Manager Johnny Huizar. “We are committed to supporting our business owners and encourage all residents to shop local,” adds Huizar.
Many leading business experts agree that marketing is one of the most vital tools to business development and that businesses that invest wisely either through paid advertisement, brand protection, and conducting full flown marketing campaigns experience very positive growth that offset marketing expenditures.
This is the sixth workshop held by the City of Pleasanton since May. Past workshops have included: General Services Administration, University of Texas at San Antonio Office of Economic Development, Small Business Administration, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, and the United States Air Force.
